ELC Jump-a-Thon for the Lost Stuffy Project

During the year our students are taught what it means to do a mitzvah (a good deed), and what it means to give tzedakah (helping people or causes in need). Each Spring we highlight a special charity and hold a special school wide fundraiser - a Jump-A-Thon - to raise money for the organization.

On March 21st, the ELC students will participate in the Jump-A-Thon to raise money for the Lost Stuffy Project. Randi Jaffe, a child life specialist and mom of 2 (current ELC parent), began this initiative as a response to the devastating wildfires in LA. She thought about the enormity of the loss, especially the deeply-loved comfort items of so many kids - stuffed animals and blankets that bring a sense of familiarity and safety to kids. The Lost Stuffy Project was born out of the desire to support kids and families dealing with unimaginable challenges.

During our Jump-A-Thon, all of our ELC students will take part in our jumping stations! Kids will enjoy jumping on bubble wrap, through hula-hoops, in a bounce house, over a "snake" and so much more!! You can donate online by filling out the form below or by writing a check made payable to Temple Shaari Emeth with "ELC Jump-A-Thon" on the memo line.
