Shaari Emeth Youth Groups

Dear Friend,

Welcome to Kol Ha Noar (“Voice of Youth”), Temple Shaari Emeth’s innovative, trend setting youth program!

Temple Shaari Emeth offers a wide variety of programming for youth in grades three through twelve. There is sure to be something for everyone! Our youth enjoy fun filled events such as rock climbing, a ski trip, Broadway shows, bowling, crafts, a space challenger simulated flight and hockey games that promote socialization among Jewish youngsters and teens. We go into our community to assist with various needs by doing social action such as visits to a local nursing home, serving in a soup kitchen and clothing drives. We enjoy regional and national events as well.

Our youth are broken into age appropriate groups. Chalutzim (pioneers) is our group for grades three, four and five. Our sixth, seventh and eighth graders are members of Gesher (bridge) and our High School students are a part of YOSHE (Youth of Shaari Emeth). Each group has its own activities led by a professional advisor. All youth members of our congregation are automatic members of Kol Ha Noar.

Temple Shaari Emeth is U.R.J. affiliated. As such, our youth in grades seven through twelve can take advantage of regional, national and international experiences.

Please feel free to stop by the youth lounge or the youth director’s office when you are in our building. Once you become a part of our youth “family”, you’ll make lifetime friends and build lifetime memories!
